CLHS Lions Reach Out Club

In District News, High School by Henry Luker

The newly-formed Clear Lake High School Lions Reach Out club is offering to shovel snow from driveways and sidewalks of anybody who cannot do it themselves.

By opening up an opportunity to be more involved in the community, they are hoping to inspire students to be a part of something bigger than themselves. Their goal is to teach students about the importance of helping others as well as how easy that can be. Many people assume that the best and only way to help is with extravagant gestures or large donations of money, but sometimes, the smallest gesture can mean the most. By including adult community members in the work, they hope to bring the community closer together and create important bonds between students and adults.

Thank you to everyone who takes the time to fill this form out, and they hope to see you over the course of this winter!
