Sixth Annual Bowling for Blake Scholarship Fundraiser

In Clear Creek, District News, High School, Middle School, Sunset by Henry Luker

Blake Lobdell, a long-time teacher at Clear Lake High School, passed away suddenly at the age of 50-years-old in September 2011. Two of his greatest passions were teaching and bowling, so it seems fitting that a scholarship fund was established to honor Mr. Lobdell and his passion for kids. In the past six years, 67 scholarships have been awarded in Mr. Lobdell’s memory totaling $34,000.

Everyone is encouraged to come out with friends and family to Mystic Lanes on Saturday, December 30, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. to midnight and Sunday, December 31, 2017 from 3:00 to 10:00 p.m. and help support “Bowling for Blake!” The cost is $10.00 for two games with bowling shoes; $5.00 will be donated to the scholarship fund.

Thank you for your help with this great cause!
