I have been a teacher of English language learners for over 30 years. I am a retired Ohio teacher of English as a Second Language. Moved to the Thornton, IA area in 2015 with my wife to live closer to my step-daughters and grandchildren. I started subbing in Clear Lake in 2016 and am presently the district coordinator of the English Language Learner program for Clear Lake. I am Puerto Rican and have been to the island of Puerto Rico many times. Great place to visit with a native. I am fluent in Spanish and love teaching students. I love sports and love what I do for a living. It's always nice to have a job you love to do. It's more than something that pays my bills.
