Happy Holiday Season to all! The Mirror Reporter and Clear Lake Community Schools are joining with local organizations, businesses, churches, and community members to sponsor the annual Christmas Giving Tree for children and families in need within the Clear Lake School District, Head Start, and Lake Town Charlie Brown Daycare. For those needing assistance with essential items such as food and/or clothing for the holiday season, please fill out the 2024 Giving Tree Form.

New legislation regarding chronic absenteeism and truancy (SF 2435) was drafted and passed during the 2024 legislative session. 

The Clear Lake Community School District and the Food Bank of Iowa are partnering to make a food pantry available to all students and parents in our school district. The PAW (Pantry Aiding Wellness) Pantry will allow parents and students to discreetly and confidentially request food (every week), personal hygiene items, and school supplies (once per month).
