New legislation regarding chronic absenteeism and truancy (SF 2435) was drafted and passed during the 2024 legislative session. 

The Clear Lake Community School District and the Food Bank of Iowa are partnering to make a food pantry available to all students and parents in our school district. The PAW (Pantry Aiding Wellness) Pantry will allow parents and students to discreetly and confidentially request food (every week), personal hygiene items, and school supplies (once per month).
